GCMA PARTNER: PINK BOWS FOUNDATION

GCMA is proud to partner with and support Pink Bows Foundation in advancing crowd safety and improving safety standards at live events around the world. Through shared initiatives, training, awareness campaigns, and industry collaboration, GCMA and Pink Bows Foundation are working together to help ensure that every attendee, worker, artist, and stakeholder returns home safely after an event.

Pink Bows Foundation was established following the tragic loss of Madison Dubiski during the 2021 Astroworld Festival crowd crush in Houston, Texas. In the aftermath of the tragedy, Madison’s family created the foundation to honour her memory and to advocate for meaningful improvements in crowd safety, event risk management, and emergency preparedness across the live events industry. The organisation takes its name from the pink bows that appeared across Houston and beyond in tribute to Madison, which ultimately became a symbol of awareness, remembrance, and positive change.

Today, Pink Bows Foundation works globally with event organisers, venues, safety professionals, public authorities, and industry organisations to promote safer live-event environments through education, awareness, and practical safety initiatives. The foundation is widely recognised for its support of the internationally accredited Showstop® Procedure training programme, which helps event professionals develop structured emergency response protocols for crowd-related incidents and other life-safety emergencies. In addition, Pink Bows Foundation has developed initiatives such as Pink Bows Safe Spaces, designed to provide support and assistance for attendees who may feel overwhelmed or unsafe during live events.
